AND to many who say I look nicer...thanks hor! :)
I have a revelation this week. I was attending one birthday party and there were some vietnamese people in the party. They thought I look like vietnamese. And so I say, oh no I got such a common look because everybody say I look like I am from their nation (China, Taiwan, Malaysia..etc..ok...except the indians. And this SOT student came up to me and said this which blew my MIND AWAY....
"Hey Amber, you should feel happy that you look so common and identify with every nationality! Have you ever thought that this is actually part of how God intends it to be so that you can reach out to so many different nations. Your looks can open doors to people's heart from all nations. In fact very often if you look like you are from that nation, perhaps God has a purpose for you there. Before you even preach, people already love and accept you."
And i go like WOW...
I remember Pastor Meng speak to me in CHINESE the first few days because He thought that I am from TAIWAN. I am basically a MALAYSIAN by heart because all my family in Malayisa. I totally love SINGAPORE because it is where my friends are. And I simply love CHINA where God is moving mightly in that nation. I never knew VIETNAMESE will think I am one of them...
and I didnt realise being COMMON has a purpose...
