Unite 2009!

I am excited about UNITE 2009! Have been thinking about UNITY for very long and hence the name of this camp! When Pastor Tan preach about unity...immediately my head goes like OH..no wonder..haha...and I really believe that the camp is going to be AWESOME!

Will be very busy this week with SOT first day of school for international students.

God I really pray for strength and capacity. Taking care of the international students is really challenging. I have so many things to update and yet no time to pen it down in words...Ah..

I really need to go off to bed now cos I really look like a zombie.

I have calculated a total of 25 hours sleep for one whole week! and the rest of my time is devoted to SOT and more. I can receive up to 100 over phone calls in a day, all with different questions and enquiries:

• How to go to School?
• What to wear for School?
• How is my student pass?
• Can I change room?
• When to pay School fees?
• What is my internet password?
• Who is fetching me to hostel?
• Do you have ironing facilities?
• Is there a discount if I pay my accommodation in FULL?
• What books to bring on MON?
• Which room am I staying in?
• When is my other room mates coming?
• ....etc

or it can simply just be as simple as telling me:

• My phone number is *******
• I LOST my keys
• I broke the chair
• I broke the table
• I broke the tiles
• I want to change hostel
• I arrived in Singapore
• ...etc

Imagine all the students asking me all these EVERY DAY!?!

But I am HAPPY serving God and being a part of bible school makes me feel so honoured! I love Jesus X 1000000000 (infinity)

Pastor ask me for a photo and I have no time even to go take a IC photo, so I gave this silly looking picture..I thought I am more beautiful than this loh...haha ok..thats a joke..:)

Busy Week!

And fellowshipping with CG is always so fun! We were playing 3 blind mice after service and I really had a great laugh. Poor Kai and Mel..haha..

My first 3D movie: Bloody valentine!

I have been so busy for the past few days and hence I decided to give myself a 2 hour break by watching my FIRST 3D movie! "My Bloody Valentine"

Honestly the storyline is old but the 3D part really makes the movie great at least in my opinion. I know Paul will strongly disagree with me. Haha. I really think 3D movies are cool and simply awesome.

We have to wear a pair of 3D glasses into the cinema! And look at Jarvis, he really look like a small boy. :)

The tix cost $13 each..I think if its on Monday, it will be cheaper! The movie is really disgusting in my opinion. I spent half of the time closing my eyes whenever I saw the killer appearing and I think I screamed a few times. Half of the time I was asking Kaixiang, "is it over yet?"

I was eating my popcorn and halfway throughout the movie, I totally feel like puking because I was too gross out by the blood. I have to pass my popcorn to the rest. The 3D effect makes you feel as if the character is just in front of you and it makes you feel you are part of the show.

3 things to note:

1) My 3D glasses was too big and half of the time I was holding on to my glasses.

2) The glasses kind of make me feel tired and giddy after a while.

3) For those wearing spectacles, putting on 3D glasses makes them feel uncomfortable. Imagine wearing 2 specs!

Despite all this, I still feel if you never been to a 3D movie before, you should at least go for a once in a lifetime experience! Personally, I still think it is fun! And I will go again if there ever is another chance.

But do note that this is a M18 show....haha :)

Storyline:

Ten years ago, a tragedy changed the town of Harmony forever. Tom Hanniger, an inexperienced coal miner, caused an accident in the tunnels that trapped and killed five men and sent the only survivor, Harry Warden, into a permanent coma. Then, exactly one year later, on Valentine's Day, Harry Warden woke up--and brutally murdered twenty-two people with a pickaxe before being killed. Ten years later, Tom Hanniger returns to Harmony on Valentine's Day, still haunted by the deaths he caused. Struggling to make amends with his past, he grapples with unresolved feelings for his ex-girlfriend Sarah, who is now married to his best friend Axel, the town sheriff. But tonight, after years of peace, something from Harmony's dark past has returned. Wearing a miner's mask and armed with a pickaxe, an unstoppable killer is on the loose. And as his footsteps come ever closer, Tom, Sarah and Axel realize in terror it just might be Harry Warden who's come back to claim them.

One last point: If you want to grow taller, you need to go out with people who are tall! Why are the guys in my cg growing taller and taller? I feel so short standing besides them. I think half of the time they never even noticed I am around until I start talking! haha...

"M" Happy Meal

I just cannot resist...

I went into Mac and bought my more than 200 and still counting number of happy meal last few days ago.

I like the joy of buying happy meal and opening up my toy at the same time. haha.
And what do I do with the toy? Kept in my cupboard till another spring cleaning session.

Anyway read this in Andrew blog:

Relationships?!?

Pastor have been preaching so much on relationship these few weeks. And So many incidents have happened around me and it all came about simply because of RELATIONSHIPS.

And by that I meant broken down and imperfect relationships. My heart begin to really have a burden. And I ask God what can I do? I dont like to see my members in relationship crisis.

God say, "Be more involved in their life. Get to know all their relationship issues and help them out of it."

Hmm...so God gave me an idea! Well it might not exactly be a new idea to you, but it is something that I feel it is a godly idea! I now keep a book call Relationship BOOK.

Starting this week, everyday I will call up at least one member, speak to them and help them with a problem in their life and after that I will write down their problems, so that I can constantly help them to pray about their problems and monitor them for their breakthrough in areas that are affecting them. And each problem that they share with me, I must help them solve. No matter how small their problems are.

So every member will have a page in this relationship book. :) Haha..bet some of you want to see your own page right? Hmmz...we will do that at the end of one year and when that happens, we can all smile and rejoice..WOAH! We have done so much in a year.

Sometimes I feel so limited as a CGL, I always want to love people more but I cannot be at different places in the same time. Of course I know God can do that but God also says you CHANGE THE WORLD ONE AT A TIME! So yup! I am going to start helping my members one at a time!
