1, 2, 3, 4 and more...

I really love this song!! :)

1 2, 1 2 3 4-
Give me more lovin' than I've ever had,
Make it all better when I'm feelin' sad,
Tell me that I'm special even when I know I'm not,
Make it feel good when I hurt so bad, Barely gettin' mad,
I'm so glad I found you; I love bein' around you.

You make it easy, it's easy as 1, 2- 1, 2, 3, 4
There's only 1 thing 2 do 3 words 4 you- (I love you) I love you
There's only 1 way 2 say those 3 words and that's what I'll do-(I love you)
I love you.

Give me more lovin' from the very start,
Piece me back together when I fall apart,
Tell things you never even tell your closest friends-
Make it feel good when I hurt so bad, Best I that I've had,
I'm so glad I found you, I love bein' around you.

You make it easy, it's easy as 1, 2- 1, 2, 3, 4
There's only 1 thing 2 do 3 words 4 you- (I love you) I love you
There's only 1 way 2 say those 3 words and that's what I'll do- (I love you)
I love you.
(I love you) I love you.

You make it easy, it's easy as 1, 2- 1, 2, 3, 4
There's only 1 thing 2 do 3 words 4 you- (I love you) I love you
There's only 1 way 2 say those 3 words and that's what I'll do-(I love you)
I love you.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms

This is really a lame drama ... but yet it really entertains me.
Sometimes you need to learn to laugh over silly things.
Actually this drama series gets me interested in reading the book on Romance of the Three Kingdoms. So I really read the 3 kingdoms' history and honestly it is quite addictive! :)
By the way this drama do not really depicts the whole story on Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It is like the lame version of the actual story.
Well at least now if I go china and preach, I can talk about China history to the china people! haha...
And guess what?? Baobei say he read Romance of the 3 kingdom before too!
Actually I am thinking if someone can actually act out bible stories in those kind of Taiwan Drama Series, perhaps people will go read the bible. Dont you think it is a great idea?

Facebook Games

I was not a facebook fan few months ago. I cannot understand why is everybody crazy over facebook and now I log in to facebook at least 6 times or more a day. And it is all because of the games! It started with Dorcas who 'insists' that I need to join this game and join her in 'stealing' business. I cannot understand why she likes that game so much and it is called BARN BUDDY.

and other than Barn Buddy, I started playing country story too! :) Both games are quite fun actually! I guess the fun part is to go to your friend's home/farm and either help or 'steal' their crops.

OK, for those who have not started playing and are wondering why would anyone even bother to play these games. I once thought like that too! :P

Actually I think once you reach a limit, you will get tired of games like this.

But still you will probably just continue playing this for the sake of communicating with your friends.

New Look! :)

Gosh! I really love his new look with specs! haha...
Counting down to 10 days till I can see him again.
and it feels like eternity.....
* Baobei, please remember to shave... haha...

Sashimi (Salmon)

Sashimi is a Japanese delicacy primarily consisting of very fresh raw seafood, sliced into thin pieces about 2.5cm (1") wide by 4cm (1.5") long by 0.5cm (0.2") thick, but dimensions vary depending on the type of item and chef, and served with only a dipping sauce (soy sauce with wasabi paste or other condiments such as grated fresh ginger, or ponzu), depending on the fish, and simple garnishes such as shiso and shredded daikon radish.

The word sashimi means "pierced body", i.e. "刺身 = sashimi = 刺し = sashi (pierced, stuck) and 身 = mi (body, meat), may derive from the culinary practice of sticking the fish's tail and fin to the slices in identifying the fish being eaten.

One possibility of the name "pierced body" could come from the traditional method of harvesting. 'Sashimi Grade' fish is caught by individual handline, and as soon as the fish is landed, its brain is pierced with a sharp spike, killing it instantly, then placed in slurried ice. This spiking is called the Ike jime process. Because the flesh thus contains minimal lactic acid from the fish dying slowly, it will keep fresh on ice for about 10 days without turning white, or otherwise degrading.

And I am really in love with Sashimi SALMON. I eat one plate almost every day! :) It has become my regular diet! and of course this has nothing to do with me loving cat but xiaohei loves to eat fish alot too! haha

Earthquake in Indonesia TODAY!

JAKARTA (Reuters) – A powerful earthquake rattled Indonesia's main island on Wednesday, seismology agencies said, shaking buildings in the capital and damaging others closer to the epicenter.

There were reports of damage in Tasikmalaya near the epicenter of the quake in West Java, and in nearby Bandung, a major city that is home to several universities.

Local tsunami warnings were issued for coastal areas within several hundred kilometers of the quake's epicenter soon after it struck, but were withdrawn about half an hour later.

The U.S. Geological Survey initially recorded the quake with a magnitude of 7.4, later lowering it to 7.0, and said it was a relatively deep 49.5 km (31 miles) below the Earth's surface.

Indonesia's seismology agency put the magnitude at 7.3 with the epicenter 142 km (88 miles) southwest of Tasikmalaya in West Java.

The Hawaii-based Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said there was no threat of a widespread tsunami.

Residents in the capital Jakarta reported buildings shaking, and hundreds of people streamed from office blocks.

"The building first shook for about 10 seconds then stopped but then it continued again," said a Reuters witness.

Another witness in Tasikmalaya said several houses collapsed, including the mayor's residence, and a mosque was damaged.

Other buildings were damaged in Bandung, witnesses said.

"We were all studying and the building we were in started shaking for a few minutes and the ceiling fell," said a man identifying himself as Evan.

Indonesian power firm PLN said there were no disruptions to its service from the quake, while state oil and gas firm Pertamina said its 125,000 barrels per day (bpd) Balongan refinery in West Java and 348,000 bpd Cilacap refinery in Central Java were unaffected

Another article reporting of the same earthquake

JAKARTA, Indonesia – A powerful earthquake rattled southern Indonesia on Wednesday, killing at least 15 people crushed by falling rock or collapsed buildings and sending thousands fleeing outdoors for safety in the middle of the work day.

Hospitals quickly filled with scores of injured people after the magnitude 7.0 quake struck off the southern coast of the main island of Java, where most of Indonesia's 235 million people live. The death toll was expected to rise.

"The earthquake was shaking everything in my house very strongly for almost a minute," said Heni Maryani, a resident in the town of Sukabumi. "I grabbed my children and ran out, I saw people were in panic, women were screaming and children were crying."

Disaster officials said homes and buildings had collapsed in three districts in densely populated West Java. About 30 people were trapped under rocks and dirt in one village, the official Antara news agency reported.

A tsunami warning was issued after the quake struck at 2:55 p.m. (0755 GMT, 3:55 a.m. EDT), but revoked an hour later.

Muharaham Ardan, a university lecturer in the town of Tasikmalaya, about 70 miles (115 kilometers) from the epicenter, said it was the biggest quake he had ever felt.

"We all ran out in panic, we didn't even put our sandals on," he said. "The neighbors were shouting: 'Get out of the house! Get out of the house!'"

Disaster Management Agency spokesman Priyadi Kardono reported 15 deaths in the districts of Cianjur, Tasikmalaya and Sukabumi in West Java.

Antara reported that 12 families, or about 30 people, were trapped in houses buried by a landslide in Rawa Hideung village. Six bodies had been recovered and the fate of many others was unknown, a resident, Agus Sobandi, was quoted as saying.

"Most of them are housewives and children who were playing Play Station in a buried house," Entang Kurniawan, another resident, told broadcaster TVOne.

Fifi, who like many Indonesians goes by one name, said he saw at least 20 houses collapse in his village of Pameungpek. Some villagers were slightly injured, but all his family members were safe.

"Residents here are still staying outside. We are afraid of aftershocks," he said.

The quake was felt over roughly half of Java island. In the capital, Jakarta, 120 miles (190 kilometers) from the epicenter, panicked office workers ran onto the streets.

Health Ministry Crisis Center chief Rustam Pakaya said at least 27 people were admitted to hospital in Jakarta and the number of injured was rising.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the underwater quake was magnitude 7.0 and had a depth of about 30 miles (50 kilometers).

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said the quake was powerful enough to cause a local tsunami, but there were no immediate reports of high waves. "Sea level readings indicate a significant tsunami was not generated," the center later said in a statement retracting the alert.

Indonesia, a vast archipelago, straddles continental plates and is prone to seismic activity along what is known as the Pacific Ring of Fire. A huge quake off western Indonesia caused a powerful tsunami in December 2004 that killed around 230,000 people in a dozen countries.
And is Michael affected?? He say his house wall cracked... :(
But I guess that earthquake is very common for them? Because he is now playing badminton with his brother and friends. But still thank God he is safe!

Funny Grandparents

I really like Michael Grandfather alot alot!
