Counting down

Yes..everyday I am counting down...to alot of dates...happy hour 2, building fund, sijia flower bday party, my birthday celebration, bling bling...etc & Life just gets so BUSY!

Now trying to learn wordpress and I am like...God please give me wisdom. The first time I logged into wordpress, my jaws dropped and I almost break into cold sweat. But really praise God, afer two days of 'playing' around with the program, I finally understand how it works. So now trying to piece all the details together. But still I am just so noob in wordpress. To grow is to accept more responsibilities so yup, I will learn! I dont know how am I going to go through next week. But My God reigns! His love will never fails me! :)

Yesterday went thru the performance for happy hour 2 with the actors/actress. Well its really funny. I have a great laugh. Some pple look as if they cant act but when you give them a chance, they really amazed you. And I am really amazed by Joshua. Haha you will get to see his performance soon! Really appreciate all their hard work at rehearsal! Jia you!

God says all of us have a talent. And as leaders we need to give our mems a chance to step out and believe in them. Have a revelation yesterday night...You can only grow up to a level that you believe in yourself. God says all things are possible to those who believe. So if you believe you can only do this up to a certain level, then you will do so up to a certain level. And as leaders, we cannot afford to limit how much we believe in mems. If I believe my mems can never act or perform, I will never have mems that can act and perform. Because only when I believe then I will give them a chance to act. And its only when you believe in the mems, then you will give them a chance to try new things and let them grow! So I prayed to God from now on, I will believe!

I believe I can raise up many disciples for God.
I believe my cell group will be spiritual.
I believe my cell group will be a group of love.
I believe my cell group will be willing and teachable.
I believe my cell group from the youngest to the oldest will love God wholeheartedly.
I believe my cell group will all grow to be strong men and women in God.
I believe every single mem in the cell group will step out and fufill their destiny.

Sometimes People ask me, Amber why your CG so big and can have many friends? My ans is simply because I BELIEVE. And I reminded myself of Smith Wigglesworth 'ONLY BELIEVE'. This is perhaps not a new revelation that I have but it is definitely one of the strongest conviction I ever have and I realised that as I grow in God, I begin to see this revelation growing in my life. When sometimes pple ask me, so Amber this week how many friends, you want an honest answer? Haha I really dont know at times, but I realised that as long as I believe and visualise, it will come to pass. So please dont say dont know and cannot. i hate these two words in my life. haha. You know when sometimes you go to pple blog, they will write, I hate backstabbers, proud pple, hypocrites..etc. BUT I really dont hate them! God says love your enemies! haha. If I am the one, under the hate column, I will put in the word 'Cannot' and 'Impossible'!

Excited from 1st to 8th Nov

I really cant wait for 1st-8th Nov week to come...everyday I pray that I will wake up finding myself in that week. Why am I so excited?

Firstly: Morning Prayer Meeting! Isnt that Exciting? I cant wait to go!

Secondly: Gonna celebrate my birthday early with cg on 1st Nov...they have been tryin to book a chalet but to no avail.. :( but still PRAISE the LORD...cant wait to celebrate with them!

Thirdly: I will be on course 3rd to 7th Nov 730pm to 10pm. yes...even on birthday night.. :( but this is a course that I am very excited for so yup..no problem man...everyday is my birthday haha!

Fourth: Torance told me that my birthday celebration will be for 5 days from 3rd to 7th Nov! And I am like WOW! I never have such long birthday celebration before..but I know I have surprises everyday? from 3rd to 7th Nov? Honestly hearing that is one of the best birthday present I have. Because many pple look at the presents that people give, but I look at the thought and intention of the one giving the present. So thanks in Advance! I know all my nights are booked for you guys..but only after my course at 10pm...sorry that it cant be earlier.

Fifth: Bling Bling on 8th Nov! So many friends are going to come and yup...a day of fun!

Lastly: Building Fund Weekend on 2th Nov! I cant wait to give God my sacrificial faith amount!

So many things happening in one week! I really cant contain my joy and everyday waiting in anticipation for the day to come. God..one more request to add on to my highly anticipated week, EVERY DAY VISITATION FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT!

and a song from my heart at this moment: "So BLESSED I cant contain it, So MUCH I got to give it away. Your love taught me to live NOW. You are MORE than enough for me!"

and ok even though I am really happy at the thoughts of all the things I know you all going to do for me, though I also not too sure who is exactly involved...but dont burn too much a hole in pocket k? cos Building Fund coming! :p Must save as well. Honestly I am so tempted to just look thru all your SMSes to see what you all are doing lah. haha

And life really cant be any sweeter when your helper call you at the right time and say, "Amber dont worry, leave it to us, we will get things done for you. Everynight when we think of this problem that you have, we know its not easy for you but we are always praying for you!" Honestly that night I sleep with a big wide smile because I know I am not alone.

Well, the guys deserved to have such fun..ever since after the pyjamas party, they have been 'pestering' for a similar event and I just cant say no.

Forgive or I cannot forgive you

Why is it so hard to forgive?

Forgiveness is one subject that is really hard to preach. Doing it part is always the hardest. Esp when you ask pple that you counsel to forgive the person who causes them hurt, they will always respond back..it is difficult..i cant do it.

There are certain people in my life, I know I got to forgive them for hurting me, but very often my first response was "it is hard, I cant do it." Well actually I know it is not I cannot, but rather of my pride and stubborness, I refused to forgive..because I feel I am a victim, why do I need to forgive? The person need to feel bad for what he or she has done....but lets face the reality of God's word: Either you forgive or I cannot forgive you.

Matthew 6:14&15
14) If you forgive others the wrongs they have done to you, your Father in heaven will also forgive you.
15) But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive the wrongs you have done.

If God can forgive everyone who repent, and if you cannot forgive pple, you are placing yourself higher than God. And that is what God called pride.."But you dont understand God, do you know how bad this thing was? I am the victim, I am the one suffering now." No matter how much we try to argue with God, (I used this argument hundreds of times), God only response back to me was "FORGIVE".

and perhaps after reading this article, you will understand when you forgive other people, then you truly will be set free. Unforgiveness can eat you up like a cancer. I have seen many people who refused to forgive. They can be christians who really love and serve God but yet eventually the unforgiveness in their heart brings them such bitterness and hatred that they can never live a victorious life for God.

Unforgiveness lets the Devil into your life, forgiveness drives him out.
Ephesians 4:25,26.
26) If you become angry, do not let your anger lead you into sin, and do not stay angry all day.
27) Don't give the Devil a chance.

Hope you can benefit from this post on unforgiveness. It is not a matter of who is right or wrong. Forgiveness is a decision that you must make.

Edge! The great Makeover

Edge was fun! but too bad....we were so busy that we never took much photos...:( or we were too busying enjoying ourselves that we forget to take photos! Sadz..The next edge..I better dont forget!

The theme for edge was THE GREAT MAKEOVER and it was really cool to see those pple standing on stage, walking down the fashion runway....there was a girl wo was only 13 yrs old! Immediately I think of all the 13 to 15 in my cell group and I am like....oh wells...we all need to dress better.

Ok...there is a great improvement in some of the girls dressing. Just to mention a few that tried their best....
Sarah as usual always that fashionable..but I hope to see you in a little bit of make up! :)
Terecia looks nice with stockings and make up; and I really love your stright cut fringe.
Joyce wore a dress..but haha...she still wear long pants underneath....hmmz...perhaps next time you will wear stockings too? But Good effort for putting on make up.
Wangyu looks beautiful in blue! Next time I will help you with your hair
Xiaoshi always look beautiful..so yup...perhaps you must learn to put on make up! and also her newly dyed hair...great effort

Guys were great..almost all put in effort..except those who have to come straight from school...haha Jinsheng was so funny. He smsed me asking IS IT ALRIGHT that he has to come in school shirt because after the event he has to go back to school? Of course ok! No choice right? :)

But I think like what pst preached last night at EDGE, we need to look good to feel good! but the real problem still boils down to our internal self image. How do we look at ourselves? Some people still choose to remain at their level of low self image because they do not believe in God when he say they are beautiful! and I really like Pastor way of putting pride across.

When you refused to believe in what God say, that is pride.

That is so true! When I told them you are good enough, they will always reply I am not good enough. Oh Wells..God doesnt lie..so if He says you are Good means you are Good. And He says YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!

So W320, lets all start to have a better self image...and turn to your neightbour and say

I AM BEAUTIFUL! :)

Ok..and I put on fake blue eyelashes for the day....even though I like the blue effect on my eyes...but I still prefer my natural eyelashes I guess..haha cos it gets kind of uncomfortable. Sometimes I do wonder about those girls that put on fake eyelashes every day...they must be super enduring!

Jeremiah 1:4-10 (niv)
The word of the LORD came to me, saying,
"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
"Ah, Sovereign Lord," I said, "I do not know how to speak; I am only a child."
But the LORD said to me, "Do not say, 'I am only a child.' You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you.

In life, we will face with disappointment. SO what so we do with disappointment? Everytime I am disappointed, I will remember Jeremiah 1:4-10. Certain points we can learn from these few verses.

1. God know us better than anyone else because he form us before the womb, therefore He knows the best path for us to take.
2. If you want to know your calling, go to God. He provides the best answer!
3. When you fear and feel you are not good enough, (keeping in mind jeremiah was just a small boy, he feel that he will do wrong things), trust in the LORD to guide you. No one is perfect, but we all need the guidance of the LORD.
4. When God wants us to rise up and do something for Him, God will help us. He will give us the necessary power and anointing because we cannot do it with our own strength.
5. The best encourager will be God himself. He will come and encourage us when we need!
6. and God will always appoint us to be KINGs and QUEENs because we are always the head and not the tail.

Some people feel that if they have not understand or do the wrong things, they
should start from the scratch. They feel that by starting from the scratch, they
will learn things the better way.

So what is the best solution? Personally I feel there is no such things as learning from scratch. You need to learn at where you are, at where you find out your problems and weakness. You need to stand at where you are to ask God to help you to move ahead. Just like running a race...sometimes we feel we run halfway and then we realised it is the wrong path, so what do we do? God will come and open up another way at where you are to bring you to the right path. But He will not ask you to run from the start. He will ask you to keep on running and as you run...your path will begin to direct to a new path.

And if you truly feel you run the wrong way, then you really should repent at where you are and do the right things. Repentance is to turn from the wrong way and walk towards the right way. Sorry means nothing at all. Real Sorry is accompanied with REAL RIGHT ACTIONS.

Someone told me, "I want to be a normal member" and my first thoughts are "What is a normal member?" Is there even such things as a normal member? And I prayed and asked God. and HE replied, "Amber, there is no normal member or normal christian. There is only REAL and FAKE christian. REAL christians love me and willingly lay down their life for me in every area they are called to do. Jesus the greatest servant of all was also a leader of all"

And God has called all of us to be kings and queens, rulers of this whole nation. Some pple reject leadership because they feel that they are not good enough...but remember God call us to be a leader. You did not call yourself. and like Jeremiah, God will anoint you and help you. Even when you walk the wrong path to be a leader, God will guide you at where you are and lead you to the right path. We cant be perfect in everything we do, but we can all be a leader in areas that we are good in. And REMEMBER God formed us before the womb. He knew what we can do and what we cant do, better than we know ourselves. And if God say YES, why do you want to say NO?

Loving this Generation

Was reading an article on how to love this new generation, quite interesting! :)

And then yup...haha remember 2 years ago, we have this cg where we make it more Q and A cg. We have this certain topic "BGR" and then members and friends are to come with questions and then we will answer them. Amazingly, friends really came and ask us for solutions. I remember how I will 'counsel' them over their love life and 'acc' them through their break-ups. But it was also through this thing that more friends came for cg at that time. Haha...hmm maybe its time to restart the COUNSELLING movement? Some of them really do step forward and share their lives...about how cheated they feel, about their family issues... Hmmz....haha I juat have another outreach idea! :P God is a Good God!

Do we really love people?

Just knew not long ago about Mernel...hmm she used to came for our CG. 1-2 years ago? I still remember the girl that walked in. She was young and well she look rather rebellious. She has this look that most people will walk away from her. She doesnt look like a typical youth. But still I like her. I thought she was funny. And I even gave her tuition together with germaine.

And then things just happen like that? Well heard that she jumped off the building.

Sometimes we as CHRISTIANs need to ask ourselves, do we really love people? What would have happen if we have loved HER more and bring HER close to JESUS? Would she have died today? I keep on thinking to myself the whole day. What if I have shown her more God's love? She would probably in our cg now, serving God? Guess this news and this video is a wake-up call to me and to many people.
